Biography

Michelle Schmidt worked as a paralegal with Eric Schmidt for over 30 years before attending law school and becoming a licensed attorney. In fact, Eric and Michelle handled their first divorce case together as a team over 40 years ago in 1984. In addition, Michelle worked in corporate America for over a decade advising and assisting business owners in making financial and operational decisions. During that time, Michelle was awarded “Salesperson of the Year” at American Express and additional sales honors at Chase Bank. We can confidently say that no other family law attorney in the greater Houston area has been awarded “salesperson of the year” for any fortune 10 corporation! Today during trials and hearings, Michelle capitalizes on all that sales expertise in the courtroom.
